Over the weekend, we celebrated the OFFICIAL start of fall! I don't know about you, but I love fall! Did you celebrate!? What did you do!? We enjoyed an apple cider donut and hot apple cider for breakfast, made some delicious chili and watched football! We kind of skipped some of our annual traditions like pulling out our fall decorations and visiting a pumpkin patch because we are moving later this week and my SO worked overnight the night prior. But it was still a wonderful, relaxing day nonetheless.
What's not to love about fall!? It really plays on our senses! The weather cools off a bit, the colors of the leaves change, we get to smell and taste all the delectable apple and pumpkin pies, apple cider, pumpkin lattes, homemade hearty meals like chili and soups and of course, the sound of football fills the house! There are so many family friendly activities, whether you have an infant or teenager. My favorites are pumpkin patches, hay rides, and haunted houses (although we won't be attending haunted houses with our daughter anytime soon). What's your favorite thing about fall?
