An Interview on How to Get the Most Out of the Farm

In case you haven't been able to venture out to any of the farms yet, I interviewed Sweet Season Farm in Milton to find the best tips, tricks and other helpful FAQ's for you! Here is the interview:

1. What's the best time of day to enjoy Sweet Seasons Farms? 

We are open Friday nights 6-10, Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 11-5. Closed to the public during weekdays.  

2. Do you close under any weather conditions? 

Rain we will wait it out, storms we will close if lightning.

3. Which activities are you offering this season? 

Lots of fun!  Corn maze with our kiddie maze and long maze as well as a new walking trail this year!   Hayride, corn cannons, jumping pillow, tug of war, corn popper jumping pillow,  Beeline, corn hole, playground, redneck golf, the haybarn, animal barn, rat racers, cow train, Duck races and more!!

4. Which ages receive the most from visiting your farm? 

All ages!  There is something for everyone! 

5. Do you recommend doing the activities in a certain order?  

Most like to do the corn maze first and then wander around activity by activity.  

6. Is there a map of activities for easy planning? 

Yes there is!  On our website and at the entrance to the farm. 

7. Are there wheelbarrows provided for picking pumpkins or do we need to provide our own? 

We provide wheelbarrows if you wish to purchase pumpkins while you are here.  Pumpkins are not included with admission. 

8. Any concerns for those with allergies? 

We do not process peanuts, no peanut fields or hay on the farm.  We do sell boiled peanuts. 

9. Do you have restrooms? Are there changing tables as well?  

We have numerous port a potties around the farm.

10. Are you stroller and wheelchair friendly? 

Yes!  

11. What are the best payment methods? 

Cash or credit card is accepted all around the farm.

12. Are there additional activities/food for purchase? 

Roasted sweet corn, sausage dogs, snow cones, dippin dots, hamburgers, pulled pork, fries, cheese fries, cupcakes, caramel apples, cookies, lemonade, tea and more!  Pony rides and pumpkins are additional charge. 

13. What clothing is recommended for a day at the farm?  

Close-toed shoes are always recommended! 

14. Are pets allowed? 

On a leash and kept away from animal barn, playground. Must clean up after pet.  Not allowed in bakery unless service animal. 

15. Do you recommend anything we may have missed?
