I don't know about you guys, but the first few weeks (Months? Years? I've lost track.) of quarantine were kinda rough for me. Not rough in light of what is currently going on in the country, but rough as in, I completely lost a workout/eating/sleeping routine that really made me feel good.
But now that the kids and I are self-isolating pros, we have gotten ourselves into a pretty good routine and are enjoying our new vibe. School is done, the weather is beautiful (less the tropical storm last weekend), our apartment pool is finally open (yay!), and I'm finding ways to coordinate a schedule for both the baby and my school-aged big.
After my initial quarantine diet of pb&j crusts and leftover fruit for lunch and wine for dinner, the opportunity to try GOOD THINS came at the perfect time! GOOD THINS presented me with a better-for-you snack that is free of preservatives, artificial colors, flavors, and wheat... and tastes amazing! My personal favorite flavors are the GOOD THINS Three Cheese and the GOOD THINS Garden Veggie. My kids keep asking for more of the Garden Veggie snacks because they insist that they taste like pizza. Flavorful snacking, made with real ingredients, and gluten free... I'm hooked!
GOOD THINS make it easy to create and enjoy a snack that's meant for me, and it doesn't take much more time than eating scraps off of the kids' plates. A little hummus or chicken salad and a serving of GOOD THINS and I was super satisfied with hardly any extra work! And no extra dishes to wash.
Now that the pool is open, I've been tossing a serving of GOOD THINS into the pool bag and I have a satisfying snack that isn't shaped like an animal or loaded with sugar! I just have to eat them before the baby sees them, since girlfriend has never met a snack she doesn't love.
Since I haven't been inside a grocery store since mid-March (!!!!) I opted for an online Target delivery order to get my GOOD THINS. It was so easy and shipping was free over $35. My package came super fast, and you can find the Circle offer on the Target App and save up to 20% on GOOD THINS through 7/5/20.
GOOD THINS have become my new go-to for an afternoon snack, and my husband and I have also busted them out as an after-dinner snack while we are working through all of our boring grown-up stuff once the kids are sleeping.
I'm still thinking of all of you during these trying times and hope you are able to carve out a moment or two for yourselves, and continue to stay safe and healthy!
