Unique Pensacola Birthday Party Locations for Kids

By Shannon Carter, Editor, Macaroni Kid Pensacola November 8, 2022

Trying to plan a birthday party that fits a child's interests and age range, all the while respecting mom and dad’s budget and energy level…can often be a fine line of conflict. The inflatable bounce house rental rarely tires… unless your child is heading for high school. Chuck E Cheese sounded like a fun idea… until you got the bill. The local park has many upsides… until you remember that you forgot to reserve a picnic table…again. Birthday parties are special to kids but also significant to parents. Each year not only resembles your child's advancing age but also the anniversary of how long you've been stressed and blessed to be their parents! Check out these unique birthday party spots and give the gift of being present!

Maker's Loft

Creative crafters may enjoy a class or party at Maker's Loft. Reserve the space for $25 and then choose a project to create. Individual craft prices range from $5-$15. You supply the food, drinks, and decorations and they’ll supply the aprons, crafts, and fun! If you prefer guidance and instruction, bring a group to a workshop class.

The Milton Railroad Museum

Let your little Conductor live out their birthday party dreams by renting out the Milton Railroad Museum's dining car! In addition to your reservation, your child will be able to explore the museum, envy the model trains, and ride the mini train. Prices range from $107-$187.

Small Cakes

If you're looking to satisfy your child's sweet tooth, consider hosting a party at Small Cakes! Every child is given two cupcakes to decorate and devour. Outside food and décor welcome. The price is $15 per child.

Funplex

If your energetic child never tires, consider a party at the spacious Funplex gymnastics gym. Not only can you reserve a party room, and have access to the gymnastics gym and downstairs bounce room, but you will also be assigned a personal party host. Prices range from $175-$450

Pensacola Cooks

If your foodie is looking to expand their chef skills beyond the comfort of their own kitchen, consider a true cooking experience at Pensacola Cooks. Pensacola Cooks offers classes for families, kids, teens, and private parties. Prices vary per class and event.

Olde English Creamery

If fancy is your child…or teens, "cup of tea," consider a tea party at the Old English Creamery! Reservations can include baked goods, afternoon tea, and an English light lunch. Prices are determined by the attendant's age and range from $25-$37 per person.

Pensacola Bay Center- Ice Skating

Winter birthdays will never experience the joy of a splash pad party…but summer birthdays will never experience the delight of an ice-skating party. Be sure to check the Bay Center's schedule for open skate hours and see if your kiddo's birthday makes their seasonal cut! Tickets are $9-$12. Meeting rooms are also available for booking upon inquiry.

Splash City Adventures- Splat Adventures

If your nerf lover is looking for an upgrade, consider a paintball party! This new attraction at Splash City Adventures (formerly known as Sam's Fun City) is sure to be a hot spot for boys and girls alike. Pricing starts at $15 per person but depends on age and equipment rental.

Nonie’s Ark Animal Encounters

If you're tired of leaving the house, but your little Zoo Keeper insists on an animal expedition… Nonie’s Ark may be just what you're looking for. This educational encounter features rescue animals, pets, and reptiles. Price ranges vary depending on headcount and add-ons.

Alligator Alley

If you and your guests don't mind a short day trip for a sight larger than life, consider a party at Alligator Alley! Make the most of your drive, reserve the sunroom, or lead the way on a self-guided tour of watching, feeding, and holding these massive creatures. Prices range from $13-$300. Whether it's a “sweet 16” or a first birthday bash, these A+ local options are sure to leave you feeling like this year's party planning was "a piece of cake!"
