'Tis the season to clear the shelters!

The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society currently has over 170 dogs on site. They urgently need our help with fosters and adoptions. See some of these cuties below and easy ways to help.

ADOPT: Adoption Hours at PAWs are Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm and they are open on a walk-in basis during adoption hours. You may call 850-243-1525 to speak with an adoption counselor. You can find the dog adoption application here

FOSTER: Becoming a foster provides critical care for a shelter pet. Foster care provides a needed break from shelter life. Placing these animals into foster homes not only makes their lives better, but also saves the lives of those who take their place. You can even foster a dog just for the holidays! You can find the foster application here.

VOLUNTEER: There are a million ways to volunteer with PAWs. Take dogs out on Doggy Dates or have them for a sleepover. Go play and snuggle or take them on a walk. See all the opportunities here.

DONATE: Shelters rely on the community to help provide necessities like food, toys, old sheets, towels, blankets, and cat litter. You can see the Amazon Wishlist here.

SHARE: Share this article! You never know who might see a dog that they could welcome overnight or forever!
